Gift Aid is tax relief on money donated to UK charities. If you are a UK tax payer, you can make your annual subscription or donation go even further by making it subject to Gift AID. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we getan extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue. The Gilbert & Sullivan Association is a registered charity (No: 1103178)
In order to claim Gift Aid on your subscription or donation, we must hold a signed Gift Aid declaration from you. Please ensure you sign the appropriate part of the membership application form when you complete your application or if you are joing online please put a number 1 in the box against "Gift Aid".
To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount to be claimed in the tax year.
For further information about Gift Aid please see the Inland Revenue website.
